At Medissage Health & Outreach, we believe care should be connected, accessible, and human-centered — born not in a boardroom, but from lived experience. Co-founders Arricka and Vernon navigated homelessness, healthcare instability, and recovery firsthand, identifying a critical gap in care for people with chronic pain. Today, Medissage is growing into a national movement, and we need visionary leaders to join our Founding Board of Directors.

A Movement, Not Just a Clinic

Medissage serves the Phoenix metro area and is actively expanding into Houston, TX. Our ReBoosTx™ model — an integrated approach to chronic pain care — is built to scale nationally, weaving together medical massage, supportive engagement, and coordinated care.

We are deeply committed to veterans. Over 50% of veterans at VHA facilities nationwide live with chronic pain, and Medissage is meeting that community with effective, human-centered care.

Elevating Care Through Education

Through our FMMBPM provider education course, we are elevating massage therapists into medically integrated care roles — building a new generation of providers who bridge the gap between traditional healthcare and community wellness.

Board Members Welcome From Anywhere in the Country

You do NOT need to be in Houston or Arizona. Medissage is growing nationally, and board members from anywhere are encouraged to apply. As a Founding Board Member, you will provide strategic guidance, make a financial contribution or fundraising commitment, and participate in quarterly board meetings.
